Silo is a zero-waste restaurant created by chef Douglas McMaster. The restaurant interiors feature bespoke furniture designed with sustainable materials. We took part in this project with 2 main furniture pieces, the wardrobe & the dry store, designed with dry-joints techniques. The material we used is Black Fibracolour by FINSA, assembled with oak dowels and plywood contrasting joints. Other materials featured in the projects are Mycelium, recycled plastic, cork, leather and recycled glass.
